Every day I walked hours and hours around, eyes and senses wide open a camera in my hands. I discovered the large views and the hidden places; I went to markets, small groceries, palazzi, churches, museums, the botanical garden, the Forum romanum, I listened and talked to people, trying to understand and to learn better Italian. Roma amazes me; it’s an open window through thousands of years, all condensed sight by sight. Daily I drew my impressions, like a diary on my computer finally resulting in this series of prints. The title RCS means Roma Circola Scandinavo and the date is the day I made it.
